Desmond Elliot and Uche Jumbo where present and commented on the award given. The African Children Talent Discovery Foundation, believes that true humanity is cardinally anchored on the idea of being our brothers’ keeper. That this single gesture is one of the demarcating factors that differentiate us from other animal species and the desire to give a helping hand to our neighbors in need is innate in every one of us.
And so the African philosophy, which believe in the notion that a child belongs to the entire community rather than the biological parents alone, is what the ACTDF hinges on, and has become its propelling force. Through education, ACTDF wishes to create a platform for the unprivileged among us to break away from what could have otherwise hold them back from becoming what so ever they desire to become.
