This year, the esteemed Engr. Noah Dallaji Legacy Project is set to take center stage in the football arena, scouting exceptional talents aged 16 to 18. These budding stars will have the rare opportunity to be mentored by iconic figures who have etched their names in Nigeria’s football annals.

In a media briefing held in Abuja, foundation Chairman, Engr. Noah Dallaji, elucidated the project’s alignment with ACTDF’s overarching vision: to unearth and cultivate Nigerian talent for the nation’s advancement. He emphasized the pivotal role of fostering young talent, stating, “Harnessing the innate potential of our youth is key to unlocking doors of meaningful opportunities in life.”

Drawing from deep-seated wisdom, Dallaji expressed, “Each individual possesses a unique gift, waiting to be ignited. Recognizing one’s purpose and channeling it for societal upliftment is paramount.”

Highlighting the continuity of the initiative, Dallaji reaffirmed that the Legacy Project will be an annual fixture. He also teased an even grander spectacle for the forthcoming edition, hinting at an increased lineup of football luminaries and attendees.

Shedding light on the event mechanics, Project Coordinator, Emmanuel Babayaro, detailed the preliminary open selection phase. Following this, chosen talents will be privileged to receive guidance from football legends such as Daniel Amokachi, Jay Jay Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, Austin Eguavoen, Tijani Babangida, Garba Lawal, Austine Eguavon, and international figures like El Hadji Diouf (Senegal) and Stephen Appiah (Ghana). Babayaro added, “Upon successful completion, these aspirants will transition to the ACTDF Academy in Abuja. Here, they will undergo rigorous training, culminating in exposure to international football trials.”

Lending their voices in endorsement, Chairman of the Planning Committee, Daniel Amokachi, and ACTDF Ambassador, Tijani Babangida, unanimously concurred on the project’s potential to revolutionize the destinies of many young talents, enabling them to realize their dreams and contribute positively to society.
